    Mission

    • To provide our players with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of basketball at a highly competitive level.
    • To offer a program, which will develop and improve a player's individual and team skills, while promoting good sportsmanship and team spirit on and off the court.

    • To demand a high degree of ethical conduct by our coaches, players, and parents thereby setting a good example for the community, opponents, and teammates, and helping the players growth to adulthood.

By accomplishing our mission, the Blazers will provide our players with additional exposure to the game of basketball thereby enhancing their opportunity to play at the high school level or beyond.

    * Being selected to attend a tournament does not guarantee a player will get to play in the tournament.

    * The season will start in early March and end late July.

    * The season will tentatively consist of 10 tournaments (see schedule for dates and locations). Most of the tournament will be Saturday and Sunday with a few being Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  This will and the driving distance to the tournament, allow for the parents to decide if they will be commuting to the tournament or staying at the site in hotels.

    * There usually will be 3 weekly practices, 2 of which are mandatory and 1 of which is optional (see practice schedule for dates and times).

    * The 2 mandatory practices will be about 2 hours in length, the optional practice will be about an hour long and consist of weightlifting, conditioning, and/or drills.

    * Uniforms (reversible jerseys, shorts and travel pack), will be provided for each player.

    * The estimated cost for each traveling player's participation is $550 of which $300 is due before the first practice can be attended and the balance of $250 is due April 1st (see breakdown of fees). This can come from donations, parents, etc.
