Baseball Academy

Personal instructional programs and lessons taught by college coaches and former professional athletes. All instructors have played college and professional baseball. The objective is to improve the individual player's skills with an understanding of the game for boys ages 5 through high school. Sports Blast is the area's largest state-of-the-art training center (6,000 square feet) and practice facility for SIU Baseball.

*MVP Players Club - Player becomes a member after 2nd complete consecutive month of program enrollment. Membership continues with consecutive monthly enrollment. Membership privileges are not extended if program enrollment ends.

1. Cy Young $100   *MVP Players Club $75
   • Pitching mechanics and techniques taught at college & professional level to increase overall pitching performance
   • Meets 1 time a week

2. Silver Slugger $100   *MVP Players Club $75
   • Hitting techniques taught at the college & professional level to develop the player's ability to hit for a higher average with power
   • Meets 1 time a week
   • Total of 4 classes/4 weeks - ½ hour each

3. Combo Hit & Pitch $85   *MVP Players Club $70
   • Improve overall pitcher & hitting performance through drillwork & techniques
